At a mall near my house, one of their Diwali programmes was an actual Ramleela. Interesting to see new India adapt to old customs. In this case though, the adapting was helped along with a 90s style Bollywood subtitle (Daag: The Fire) which informed anyone who might be misled or confused that this "Ramleela" was indeed "The Play"

Bombay Ramleela

The Parsi Ambulance Building
The fashionably smart Art Deco Parsi Ambulance Building at Metro Cinema Junction, Marine Lines. The building houses a free ambulance service run by the Parsi community. It commemorates Lady Willingdon, the wife of a Viceroy and from all accounts an extremely popular character to name stuff after. Lodhi Gardens in Delhi is the most famous place that was once named after her before its name reverted back to its old masters. Apart from that there are a range of colleges, parks and institutions in India as well as Pakistan named after her.
